Greetings to all in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
On behalf of the Mar Thoma Church of Dallas Farmers Branch Sevika Sanghom, I am happy to welcome all women to the 20th Diocesan Mar Thoma Sevika Sanghom Conference of the Diocese of North America and Europe. The conference will be held at Marthoma Church of Dallas, Farmers Branch from October 13 -16, 2022. Wherever women are enlightened, progress has already ushered in. The Mar Thoma Church started women’s ministry (Sevika Sanghom) one hundred years ago, and the progress that we have achieved so far is the result of the planning and hard work of our women. The part played by women in the growth of the Marthoma Church in North America is remarkable.
The theme of the Conference is WOMEN: MENTORS OF THE NEW WORLD. The new heaven and new earth are our hope and we all are looking forward to seeing that day when God will finally bring about. The word “New” means qualitatively good. It is noble, best, and splendid. It is the fulfillment of the Kingdom of God which Jesus inaugurated, about which he preached and for which he died. Women are the mentors of this new world. They have the motivation, willpower, and commitment to accomplish the task to which they are invited to cooperate with God to fulfill it. May this conference help our women to listen to God's word in their life to participate in God’s plan of salvation. I wish the conference all blessings and success!
